Dear Stock Families,
We’ve officially reached the end of Week Three, and what a wonderful three weeks it has been!
It has been so exciting to see the confidence growing in our students each day. They are coming into school with bigger smiles, settling into their classroom routines, building new friendships, and becoming more comfortable in their new school environment. I’ve also seen so much evidence of their creativity and learning making its way home with them at the end of the day through sticker projects, glitter paintings, charcoal everywhere, and some very impressive BIG tower projects! There is so much creativity happening throughout our school!
We’ve also been busy making sure our school is prepared and safe. Many of our evacuation drills are complete, with the entire building exiting in just slightly more than two minutes! We also held allergy drills in many classrooms, and our staff followed all protocols beautifully. It is reassuring to see our team working together so thoughtfully to keep our students safe.
And for those of you who have been following the progress of our outdoor classroom/playground, it's getting exciting! The climbing hill is complete, and the fence is nearly finished. We can’t wait to see this space come to life and become another place for our students to explore, move, develop language skills, create and learn.
Have you joined Friends of Stock yet? If you haven’t, we encourage you to join this wonderful and very active parent organization! Friends of Stock helps make so many of the special things happening at our school possible—from fun family events and dine-out fundraisers to many other activities throughout the year. It’s a great way to get involved, meet other Stock families, and help support our school community. And have you seen the new Stock merch this year?! Amazing! Thank you for all of your support, encouragement, and partnership during these first few weeks. You have helped make the beginning of this school year so joyful, welcoming, and fun for our children.
